We are Studio EBN

Nordic design. An unexpected material.

STUDIO EBN creates bags and accessories inspired by Nordic landscapes, textures and timeless design.

Our signature material is salmon leather, made from surplus fish skins from the Norwegian aquaculture industry and tanned in Iceland. We see these skins as a material worth making more of.

A texture of its own

Salmon leather has a distinctive texture that gives each piece its own character. The size and shape of the skins inform our designs, making the material part of the creative process from the beginning.

We bring it together with considered details and simple shapes to create pieces designed to be used and cherished over time.

Thoughtful choices, step by step

For us, design begins with considering the materials we use and how we use them. Working with surplus salmon skin is one way we put that thinking into practice.

We continue to explore materials and refine our choices as STUDIO EBN evolves.
